Options

An option is a specialization of 12 to 18 course credits taken in Years 3 and 4 in a specific business subject area.

If you are completing the Combined Major in Business and Computer Science (BUCS) program, your program curriculum does not allow for specialization in an option.

An option is not equivalent to a major.

As a BCom student, your program major is Commerce. Your option, also sometimes referred to as your specialization, will not appear on your degree certificate, but will be noted on your transcript.
