Term 1 – Option Info Sessions
Each year, second year BCom students at UBC Sauder have the opportunity to learn more about the different program options available through our Option Info Sessions. These sessions are designed to help you make informed decisions about your academic path by providing a closer look at what each option offers.
During the workshops, professors will share insights into:
Student experiences within the option, including the types of projects and classroom environments you can expect.
Learning outcomes that highlight the knowledge and perspectives you’ll gain.
Skills developed that will prepare you for both academic success and future career opportunities.
Whether you are exploring your interests, narrowing down your choices, or confirming the right fit, these sessions are a valuable chance to connect with faculty, ask questions, and hear directly about the unique features of each option.

Term 2 – Options Night
In Term 2, the Commerce Undergraduate Society (CUS) will host Options Night, supported by the Business Career Centre (BCC).
This event will be open to all BCom students and will provide: Insights into different career paths across options and a chance to explore how your academic choices connect to future opportunities.
