Dean's Speaker Series

UBC Sauder Philanthropy Program

Students learn first-hand the practice and impact of philanthropy through exposure to local philanthropists and community leaders. Several business leaders have come to the school to talk to students about their philanthropic initiatives including Mark Cullen, Corporate Director, Mark Cullen & Company Ltd. and Kevin McCort, President and CEO, Vancouver Foundation.

Supporting students and student societies

The UBC Sauder Alumni Engagement Office works hard to help facilitate meaningful connections between students and alumni.

We act as a key resource to help student clubs, conferences, case competitions and other CUS services to be able to interact with alumni — be it as speakers, mentors, networking delegates, judges or coaches. If you’re a student leader looking to connect with the UBC Sauder alumni network, please reach out to Bonnie Lee at
