COHR 412 - Advanced Topics in Organizational Behaviour

This is an advanced topics course in organizational behaviour (OB). It is designed for those who have an interest in understanding, critiquing, and analyzing behaviour in organizations. This course extends beyond the prerequisite introductory organizational behaviour course by focusing on provocative and current topics that could not be covered in the introductory course; topics such as trust, whistle-blowing, aggression and violence in organizations. The primary purpose of the course is to explore some of the more important and interesting manifestations of individual behaviour in the context of modern work organizations. This is not a course in management, per se, although the managerial implications of the various phenomena we study will be discussed.

Note: COHR 412 will not be offered in 2023W.

Prerequisite: COMM 203.
