Stone Family Award for Women in Business (#1033)

An award is offered through an endowment with contributions from The Jack C and Mary C Stone Living Trust and Jack & Mary's daughter Ann to a female student enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce program at the Sauder School of Business. Preference is given to a candidate specializing in marketing or finance who has demonstrated leadership in the community. The award is made on the recommendation of the Sauder School of Business. This award was created to encourage women in business. The Stone Family believes strongly in the importance of education to enable women to have successful business careers. They have contributed throughout their lives to higher education and encourage the recipient of this award to consider this spirit of giving once they are secure in their careers.
