Manager, Business Co-op Program
My professional background is in providing career consulting services to the technology, public accounting and professional services industries. As Manager of the Business Co-op Program I meet all potential Co-op students selected for an interview. Once a student is accepted into the program, I coach and support them through individual meetings and workshops and often make workplace visits. I also work closely with Co-op employers to identify rewarding employment experiences.
Business Co-op Coordinator
I am available to answer student questions about the Co-op program and participate in info sessions, workshops and recruiter events. I also make workplace visits and provide application support and interview preparation assistance to students who have been accepted into the program. Before coming to UBC Sauder, I worked in human resources, volunteer engagement and fundraising in the public and non-profit sectors. I have a BA from UBC and am also a graduate of the Arts Co-op program.
Business Co-op Coordinator
As a Co-op Coordinator, I help students prepare for their job search, facilitate career workshops and build relationships with employers. Prior to joining UBC Sauder, I coordinated an employment program for a local non-profit organization and was engaged in a number of community-based initiatives. I have a Bachelor of Arts from UBC and have also completed coursework in HR. My extensive experience in career development coupled with my passion for helping people meet their goals is what motivates me and I look forward to guiding you through your professional development as you embark on your Co-op journey!
Co-op Program Assistant
I support the Co-op team with the day-to-day activities such as communicating with students, sharing Co-op opportunities, and coordinating hiring and site visits with employers. I am a BA graduate from the Faculty of Arts at UBC majoring in International Relations, and minoring in Commerce. I’m excited for the opportunity to be a part of the UBC community once again, and to support the amazing career building opportunities the Co-op Program has to offer.
