COMM 386N – Climate Leadership, Innovation and Strategy
Climate change is altering the context in which businesses operate. This course examines the implications of climate risk, evolving policy frameworks, and emerging market opportunities for firms across sectors. Students will assess how organizations respond through strategic choices and approaches to innovation. The course also considers how to sustain meaningful climate action amid geopolitical uncertainty and competing global priorities. Over the course of two weeks, students will engage in discussions, case studies, lectures, and connect with industry experts to better understand how climate change is shaping business today and in the future.

Eligibility: This course is open to all UBC students in any specialization in Years 3, 4 and 5
