CFA Program Student Scholarship
As a student enrolled at an Affiliated University and in an affiliated degree program you can apply for a CFA Program Student Scholarship.
As a participant in the University Affiliation Program, UBC Sauder is allotted a number of Student Scholarships that are made available to BCom and MBA students. The current allotment is six scholarships, awarded two times a year.
Students who apply for a scholarship should not register for a CFA Program exam until a decision on the scholarship application has been issued.
If you are selected for an award, the Student Scholarship waives the one-time program enrollment fee, and discounts the exam registration fee to $600, which includes access to the curriculum and all available study tools. This discounted price ($600) will be reflected during the checkout process.
The scholarship is valid for one year from the date an award decision is made. The scholarship recipient can register for any available exam offering they qualify for during that time.
Students not selected will be eligible to register at the early registration pricing for up to one year from the date the award decision is made.
All applicants will be notified immediately when the award decision is made, and the award decision is final.
To apply for a CFA Program Student Scholarship, you must:
- Not be currently registered for a CFA Program exam
- Satisfy the enrollment requirements detailed here: https://www.cfainstitute.org/en/programs/cfa/charter
- Be a current BCom student in year 3 or 4 at the time of the scholarship application deadline
