COHR 305 - Strategic Compensation

This course focuses on managing employee compensation in organizations. Through the project, students will acquire skills and knowledge necessary for developing effective organization compensation systems.

Learning objectives

In this course students will:

  • learn current state of compensation decision making.
  • learn how recent theory and research inform compensation decisions.
  • develop knowledge and skill in making compensation decisions.

Prerequisite: COMM 292 and one of COMM 203, COMM 392.
