UBC Counselling Services

If you're feeling persistently stressed, anxious, or sad, you can book a virtual, phone or in-person initial or follow-up appointment with Counselling Services.

 

Food Access Supports

If you are struggling with food security as a student, the following supports offer free perishable and non-perishable foods, budgeting tips, and other resources on campus and in/around Vancouver.

    

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion resources and support

Mistreatment towards anyone in our UBC Sauder community is not acceptable. Have you witnessed or been subject to mistreatment? Find out how to get support or discuss an issue related to discrimination, bullying, harassment, or sexual misconduct.

 

Wellness Centre

Find out more about mental health resources by dropping into the Wellness Centre inside the UBC Life building or attending a virtual Zoom drop-in session. If you identify as Indigenous, Black, or as a Persons of Colour, receive wellness support and peer mentorship from trained IBPOC students

 

International Student Advising

Connect with International Student Advising for guidance on life as an international UBC student, from study permits and health insurance, to adjusting to life in Canada.

  

Enrolment Services Advising Centre

All undergraduate students in a degree program have a dedicated Enrolment Services Advisor to help you navigate UBC, from making a budget or applying for loans to understanding UBC regulations and processes. Enrolment Services Advisors may also assist with supporting students experiencing financial emergencies.

 

Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO)

UBC Sexual Violence Response Specialists are available to support you if you want to talk, explore your options, or get help with next steps.

 

Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC)

The SASC offers education, support, and resources for people of all genders who are survivors of sexualized violence, as well as their friends and family. 

 

Student Health Service

Student Health Service offers a wide range of health assessments and treatments provided by doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses.

 

Nurse on Campus

Registered nurses from UBC Student Health Service can give you personalized tips, resources, and health advice. It's confidential, free and there is no appointment needed.

 

Student Recovery Community

Connect with other students in a welcoming and inclusive space to learn about recovery from addiction to alcohol, drugs, disordered eating, and/or addictive behaviours.

  

Centre for Accessibility

The Centre for Accessibility facilitates disability-related accommodations and programming initiatives designed to remove barriers for students with disabilities and ongoing medical conditions in all aspects of university life.

 

Centre for Community Engaged Learning

The Centre’s programs provide you with community-based opportunities to learn, participate, and collaborate on projects in the community. You can learn from amazing community partners at an event, participate in an immersive community experience like Reading Week, lead a project by writing a grant, or by joining a Collaboratory project.
