Library and Learning Commons team
Head, David Lam Library and Canaccord Learning Commons
As Head of the David Lam Library and Canaccord Learning Commons, my role is to manage the staff, services and collections of the library. As part of the reference and instructional team, I also am available to help BComs with their questions around finding secondary research.
As a librarian I’m here to help BCom students find credible information for their assignments, such as articles and market research reports. I can also help locate resources for career research and interview preparation. I may also visit BCom classes to help students develop information literacy skills that will benefit them in their program at Sauder and beyond.
Manager, Canaccord Learning Commons
My role is to coordinate our co-curricular programming and Learning Commons services. I oversee our coaching programs and the variety of student staff who work in the CLC. I'm always happy to hear feedback and suggestions from students. Enjoy the Learning Commons and take advantage of programs and services, they're here for you!
Coordinator, Investment Analysis Centre
As the Investment Analysis Center Coordinator, my role is to develop and deliver workshops, tutorials, and training materials for BCom students on accounting and finance products such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ and DataStream; and support courses that incorporate financial database into the curriculum. The Wayne Deans Investment Analysis Center holds weekly Bloomberg and Capital IQ workshops. You can reach me during office hours Monday through Friday 2pm to 3pm in the Wayne Deans Center.
