The following year-end awards are available by application. To apply, submit a one-page cover letter (include your student number on the letter) outlining how you meet the criteria in the award description, and a one-page resume to the Undergraduate Office by 4:00pm, Thursday, April 4, 2019. If you're unable to drop off your application in person, it can be emailed to email@example.com.

There are four three* awards available by application to UBC BCom students—all with a submission deadline of 4:00pm on Monday, February 4. You must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply:
- registered in a minimum 24 percentage-graded credits in the BCom program in 2017/18
- obtained a minimum 75% with no fails or missing grades in 2017/18
- registered in a minimum 24 percentage-graded credits in 2018/19

UGO Student Experience Grants are available to current BCom students in good academic standing to offset expenses for a variety of experiences.
Many awards available by application are granted at the start of the school year to recognize academic achievement in your previous year of studies. Non-academic factors such as leadership, community involvement, or financial need may also be included in individual award criteria.
Advertising Standards Canada (Ad Standards) is the industry’s not-for-profit self-regulatory body committed to maintaining community confidence in advertising. Ad Standards awards one $1500 scholarship annually to a full-time post-secondary student who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, enrolled in an undergraduate Advertising and/or Marketing program at a Canadian university or community college and is committed to pursuing a career in advertising or marketing in Canada. The YMCA of Greater Vancouver awards a $1000 scholarship to a female student planning to pursue a career in Marketing and Advertising. The award is in memory of Ellen Bell, a talented and creative individual who worked in the field of marketing and advertising and was a committed community volunteer. Applications must be received by Thursday, February 15.
The 3M National Student Fellowship honours up to ten full-time undergraduate and graduate students at Canadian post-secondary institutions who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their lives and at their college or university. These students embrace a vision of quality education that enhances their academic experience and beyond. Each winner will receive an award of $5,000 to be spent at the winner’s discretion and will also participate in a 3M National Student Fellowship Program retreat.
The Gary & Consuelo Corbett Canada-U.S. Fellowships Program will award $12,000 (USD) to an exchange student going to University of Washington for the 2018/2019 academic year.
$12,000 would comfortably cover all costs associated with an exchange located in Seattle. You can experience a year abroad at a US university with little to no financial impact.
Awards totaling $2,600 are offered by the Grewal family and friends in loving memory of their son Jimmy Grewal. Jimmy was passionate about the environment and planned to study at UBC. The awards are for outstanding undergraduate students at the UBC Sauder School Business who are passionate about the environment and have a demonstrated record of volunteering and community service.
Applications are now being accepted for one of four awards of $5,000 each under the Peter Lee Scholarships in Finance. The recipients will be individuals with a strong interest in finance and a high degree of motivation for a career in the capital markets.
