Queen's Finance Association Conference NYC Stock Pitch Competition

September 8, 2017

Queen’s Finance Association Conference (QFAC) would like to invite you to apply for this year’s annual New York City Stock Pitch Competition. This year, the competition will run from September 27-29, 2017. Competitor applications are due by Monday, September 18.

Why get involved?

A highlight of the 10th annual Queen's Finance Association Conference (QFAC) will be the New York City Stock Pitch Competition. The event is open to all undergraduate students in Canada and the United States and will provide participants with the opportunity to showcase their equity research and stock picking skills to industry leaders.

The top seven finalists will be flown to New York on Wednesday, September 27 where they will meet with QFAC alumni prior to the competition on September 28. The event will see the finalists present to a panel of distinguished judges at Greentech Capital Advisors' New York Office, while providing networking opportunities with top firms in New York City through office visits and other events throughout the following day.

Top seven finalists get to participate in the trip in addition to an application bypass to the 11th annual Queen’s Finance Association Conference, the largest undergraduate, finance-specific conference, held in November 2017 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto. Top 10 competitors receive the same application bypass.
